Fast Weight Loss - Difference Between Men and Women in dieting and fitness. When men want to lose weight they never say "gotta lose this tire around my middle." Nope what they say is "gotta get in shape," as if losing weight wasn't an important enough goal. Women, well most women, look in the mirror and see the belly fat, the flabby thighs, the drooping rear end and decide to lose weight to look better. Oh they might say it's because they want to be healthier but truth be told it's vanity.
Another difference with fitness is that women want to reduce the size of their body while men want to get big. Get bigger biceps, bigger chest, bigger thighs. You just don't hear women saying "my triceps (upper arm) are just too small I've got to get buff." Nope what you hear is something along the lines of "my upper arms wiggle like jello that's disgusting." Look at the difference between fitness articles written for men and those written for women. For men it's about getting in shape, getting fit, and health. For women it's about looking better, and sometimes health. It's not fair. Men also have an easier time losing weight. Because they weigh more to begin with they lose weight faster and men usually have a higher metabolism than women. Well women do have at least one advantage. We're the ones that do the cooking. |
